I bought one last week and love it. Its heavy, really heavy. A standing shot with a Viper scope on board is a battle. It is totally dead to fire, all recent models have the T06 trigger and its a doddle to strip.
...as I'm very close to buying one.
Thinking of getting one in .177 for target shooting and possibly static hunting - Any reason not to?
What are they like to shoot? To open up if I need to tinker?
Does the .177 version have the T06 trigger?
Best place to buy one in the south east? Best price I have seen so far is Solware, and at their price it may actually be worth it for me to drive up to Brum to get it.
I'm not aware of any other generally available recoilless spring rifles, but if I've overlooked one let me know

Better to admit you walked through the wrong door than spend your life in the wrong room
Thanks TB
Is there a sling stud on the foreend, or room for one? Or would I have to buy the proprietary Diana bipod I have seen about? Got a Harris sitting there doing nothing.
Have you shot an LGV comp. ultra (the one with the adjustable cheekpiece)? If so what would you say the weight comparison was? Not hugely fussed about the weight though if I can stick a bipod on it/rest it on something.

Another "back burner" project !
Always fancied one in .177 Cal. and eventually I may own one.
Be interested to compare it to my TX200 SR. ?

Hmmmm! Turns out Solware don't have it in stock at all - possible 12 week minimum lead time...
Anyone know anywhere that actually has these in stock? I may post in the Wanted section as I wouldn't mind 2nd hand either.
Where did you get yours TB?

I bought my airing a good few years ago now. It's a very nice , well engineered gun, with real character.wgen I take it up the range it always gets admired. And then people try shooting it. Accurate ? Yes ,heavy ? Yes and yes again. I have put less than two tins of pellets through it since I bought it. It's definitely a keeper ( as part of my collection) but too heavy for posting and too heavy ( for me) to spend too much time on the range.expensive folly ? I don't think so ,it's worth its money, but shall not be getting the .177 version.
