    I must be living right? a Haenel 28-R set .177 & .22

I love retirement, I was scanning an auction site and a gun dealer just put up a Haenel 28-R for a set price. He was right on the book value given the condition and I had a 5 day inspection period. It looked a little rusty but it was all there and they said it functioned. Got it today. Fires fine and the rust cleaned up surprisingly well. It's serial number is in the 3000s so it's one of the last ones made. It's a kick having both calibers. Below is the picture of the two, the new 22 is on top. I was contacted by a guy in Germany who wanted to buy my .177, he said these are very hard to get there? Wonder if a good number were imported to the US, I have seen old advertisements here.

The real irony here I can't seem to find a nice regular Haenel 28. All the ones I see are missing parts, have replaced screws or just beat up.

    Thumbs down

I get all kinds of dire warnings that phone is infected by a virus when I click on the photobucket link - it's a scam of course, but just to warn others...
