    illness

I have been suffering from the coughing lurgy for the last 4 weeks. Although I'm not coughing on the range and don't feel particularly unwell, my scores during this time have deteriorated. Anyone else find not being completely A1 affects their pistol shooting?

    Yes, without a doubt.

I've recently got over a bout of tonsillitis that took a couple of different types of antibiotics to sort out, and while all that was going on, I suffered partial deafness in both ears - ENT connectivity at it's best Or worst

After a couple of weeks of not being able to hear very much and a couple of doctors visits, things improved and I returned to work, and visited the gunclub to shoot 10m AP.
I noticed that the odd shot didn't end up where I thought it was going too, but the shot felt good and follow through was ample.

It seems that not quite everything in the ENT and balance department is quite fully coordinated and recovery is not yet complete

Of course. Pistol shooting requires fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are first affected in case of illness
Besides that, yr coughing. That probably means you have less condition and air than usual, thus a higher respiratory rate and heartbeat

I find keeping my physique at a peak of physical fitness due to a total abstinence of caffeine, chocolate and beer and regular exercise helps me do these regularly http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...tml?sort=4&o=5. My fourth 50 ex 50 this year.

I am happy to report an improvement in my condition about mid week and a resulting improvement in pistol performance.

I exercise stringently EVERY day. First thing in the morning its up-down 40 times (then I do the other eye lid). Following this strict exercise regime and a very stringent diet I managed this today:
