There is also the SMK P15.
Hey guys. I haven't posted here in a long time. Looking at getting back into the sport after a long time away.
I really want a bull pup as I like that style of rifle. I don't have a huge budget for one but have come up with 3 options.
I like the look of the hatsan gladius, but the weight seems to be a drawback. I have also watched video reviews and there seems to be mixed feelings towards the rifle. Has anyone got one or had experience witch one?
The other option is the Karl puncher breaker. Has anyone got one or used one?
Also considering the Brocock Compatto
My last option is to bull pup my s410k with a kit from Blackpool Air Rifles. I'm just altitude worried that the forend will be too short and the cocking will be too awkward with it being set so far back.
What are your views on the aboveboard?

Put on heading 270, assume attack formation
Hi. What type of shooting do you want to do?
The Gladius is pretty heavy. The Compatto is not really a bullpup, but a semi-bullpup.
I have a couple of FX Wildcats one of which I use for hunting on a bipod.
I have also used a Blackpool kit to bullpup my HW100k. It is a bit short for offhand (standing) use in the normal position, but short enough (like the Wildcat) to adopt novel positions for standing shots.
It is bloody great for hunting on a bipod, using nightvision..
p10 shorty is good for £400 , cheapest bullpup out there I would think
The rifle will be used for hunting mainly.
I have looked at the p10 but put off as its smk. But like with my s410 I think the bolt is going to be awkward to manipulate.
Unfortunately my budget doesn't extend to an fx.
I have seen that the Compatto has good reviews. How quiet is without an extra moderator on the muzzle or does it need it?

My mate has the craftsman vit bull pup kit on his s410. It's a nice rifle. He is selling the rifle as he is giving up shooting.
It's a .22 s410. Pre anti tamper.

The compatto has a shrouded barrel so it is fairly quiet without a mod and very quiet with one. I watched one of Si Pittaway's youtube videos and he was hunting pigeons inside a warehouse with no mod on the rifle.
The Hugget Belita or the mod that I got with my Compatto, the A-tec Wave are short Mods so doesn't make much difference.

Have a look to see if you can find a zbroia kozak heard good reports and around the same price as compatto , in fairness if you feel the p10 bolt will be a problem to bullpup your s410 will cause the same problem , after a bullpub myself and finding one any good at a reasonable price is a nightmare .
My brother has the p10 but I wanted side lever cocking as feel I might find it easier
Have a look at the KOZAK PCP bull-pup on the SURE SHOT web site http://sureshot-airguns.co.uk/kozak-pcp-bull-pup/. Biathlon cocking lever set forward, barrel free floating with weaver scope rail set low to the air cylinder. Guaranteed accuracy of less than 20mm at 30 meters. Two different lengths at £559 and £589.
Cheers, Phil
Please don't be put off by the fact it's SMK (now owned by Remington btw)
I bought one a year or so ago. It's fabulous and the quality of engineering is remarkable- far far better then it's price point would suggest. Easy to strip as well. Very quiet (mine is 22) with it's built in mod and consistently accurate (it's regulated as standard)

Don't discount the Evanix Rainstorm 3D bullpup Once you,be got it sorted i.e. Trigger adjusted correctly and the right pellet choice, it's great little rifle and shoots as well as my other rifle a hw100.
