    Had exactly the same issue and ended up with a steel breech and red dot. As suggested you can get silencer adaptors with pins, I got one with TWO grub screws, used one to attach to barrel and had a threaded rod in the other as a sight pin. You need to watch the diameter of the silencer for this to work, I'd say < 30mm silencer diameter

    2240 repairs

    Can anyone recommend someone in the South East of the UK who would be able to diagnose and repair a fault on my 2240 please ?

    What seems to be wrong with it? These are so simple to work on I guess once we know the fault you'll have an avalanche of replies
    video transferred to DVD, USB etc. Old negs and photos scanned to digital media
