New revolver in transit to me.

Hi all. I have been away from airgunning for awhile, but now I am back into it. I also collect 1911 Airsoft pistols. All I need to do now is build the pellet/BB pistol collection back up. My wifey is very happy about that. LOL. I am more of the co2 replica revolver type, but love the Crosman 2240's also. I have a Dan Wesson Silver 715 4" pellet revolver coming in a couple of days. Really looking forward to getting it in. I am an old poot but I am like a kid when it comes to receiving new guns. Well, I just thought I would say hello. Happy shooting gunners. Mike in the USA PS. How do I get permission to post pictures?

    Welcome aboard Mike.

Plenty of co2 1911s available in the U.K.

Oddly airsoft replicas are only available to shooters who register as airsoft players or have another 'defence' allowing them to buy a replica.

In other words Adults can only buy the more powerful ones as they are classed as airguns and not replicas.
And airguns are classed as firearms over here but legal to own without licence if under certain power limits.

You will get used to our odd Firearms Laws if you spend time on here!

Big welcome from here in East Anglia!

If you want to get old fast, try unravelling the gun laws in this place.

Best to go with the flow - trust me on this one.

    Hi Mike,

You will love the DW 715, an excellent CO2 pistol. I was shooting my 6" this morning while using up some odd tins of pellets (any excuse to enjoy a rare sunny day here!).

Probably not ideal pellets for either but my 715 managed to shoot consistently better than my Walther Lever action at 10 metres, granted they were shooting heavy weight hollow points but still impressive!

2 1/2 inch is no slouch.
Doesn't make my wrist ache like the 6!

    Welcome.

There is a thread about uploading photos in the thread HERE.

    2 1/2 and 4 pellet in silver.
I'm told the 4 is coming in the nice grey finish.

The little one is a favourite of mine.
Better than my custom 2 inch Umarex SW which is annoying.

    Welcome Mike from Wales
a gun is just a tool how its used is dependant on the person behind the trigger .
This is why constant restrictions on legal users will have no effect on the unlawfull use of guns or knives !
