It could be the nut behind the trigger.
Done that Tone. When Chris was here the other weekend he suggested that, so we released the barrell band and re-settled it. Most of today's shooting was perfect so assumed we'd cracked it and then after stopping shooting for an hour, went back to the rifle and got the 'shift' again. The week before it was just doing the same but holding horizontal and going 2" consistently left If I re-zero, the cycle starts again. The lads at the range are a similar bunch to The Bashees so I did wonder if there was a turret twiddler amongst us but no, messing aside, it wasn't that, they were all a bit stumped.

It's probably the scope, like you say. Confirm with trying a different scope.
Otherwise, I'd be looking at the barrel band again. It needs to be tightened just enough to avoid shifting. Confirm by trying to twist the bugger with moderate finger & thumb pressure.
Tis a common thing with the S400 series. The barrel can get twisted a few mm off center just by removing or fitting the sound mod'.
I think that's partly why Tinbum doesn't like them.

I have been offered a Clangers permission so that may just work out It's frustrating Phil, I just want to get out and use it in the field but can't quite trust it fully yet. I'll give the barrel band another release and twiddle, change the scope and see how I go. If that don't work at least we'll have a bit of wood to get The Quigley fire going and Tinners can have the left-over metal bits

First the 90 now the 410, what the hell are you doing with them mate ? seriously Paul, I've never had a bad 400/410 yet were accuracy is concerned. I trust you will be bringing it to the bash ?

Looking forward to joining the HW45 shoot. Also bringing my new Baikal Makarov. Better for the rugged realism of the action than accuracy; but, great fun with a satisfying 'blam' when fired.
Now wearing boxing gloves to stop myself ordering a shoulder holster.
Currants are too soft, but I'm asking Timbum to make me a frozen pea sizer. The CO2 charge does help maintain the pea's hardness. Last night I shot a fish supper.
Seize the Day! Quigley Hollow is a great place to start.
