Later model of the Diana/Original 50.
It may have a build date in tiny letters on the rear left side of the cylinder.
Seems to be giving good power and worth cleaning up.
Older models fetch £150-£250 in good nick.
not sure if this is old enough for this section but any help would be appreciated.
so we found this old springer rifle in the skip of an auction house near me (if something doesnt sell for 3 auctions, they bin it) someone had painted the stock with fence paint without removing the action (now you know why it didnt sell eh?)
i brought it home and put a couple of .22 bisleys through it for a 10.5/10.7 ftlb chrono. quite happy with this i decided to strip the painted stock and try to make it a little more pretty.
i know nothing about this gun other than whats written on the action RWS MOD.50
Anybody know when it was made and if its worth anything
thanks for your time

The date should be on the rear of the cylinder, left side. Four digits: date and month.
Will be an 80s rifle, rather than 60s. Does the under lever extend past the for end of the stock? And does the metalwork have a blue finish or parkerised crackle finish?
