Payment also received from Flyingfish and GrandadG, so looking forward to seeing you both again, Pete and Graham.

    All the best Mick
Thanks for your kind offer Mick.

Emma will not be given a decision on having the time off until the week before so I will not be able to give you any more notice than that.

We both wrongly presumed that getting the time off in September wouldn't be an issue.

However, have yourself a lovely holiday.

Thank you for your kind offer of the bell target, but don't worry. There'll still be lots to keep the Boingeristi entertained and we'll look forward to seeing you, your doinger and your awesome toys even more for the Bonfire Bash.
    Hi Tone
Thanks for the kind words, I am well gutted that I will miss meeting up with all the great folk at the bash.
I will be coming to the bonfire bash and will be bringing the bell target.

We can't commit yet as it looks like that's when we're in France, but we shall see.

Our Mick is a star, Gary.

Feel for you and Emma. I also work in retail and work every Saturday and alternate Sundays. The September Bash falls on a weekend "on" for me, so the holiday request for two days' hols went in a week or so ago. I WILL be there; just nice once you finally get the holiday officially authorised.

And at least it doesn't clash with Silverstone MotoGP this year - that's the weekend before.

Fingers crossed that all goes well for you.

I won't be about later to do any boinging on the thread, chaps, as we have our customary Summer Solstice "head to the hills" trip, where the family and I drive into The Peaks, climb a few hills and watch the Sun go down. Then an hour and a half's drive home.

    Keep her boinging along, peeps.
