NEW 224 53 Grain Nosler Varmageddon Bullet

Any one know where they can be sourced?

Doesn't look like there's anywhere stocking them in the UK and I'd like to try them. Great BC at 0.303: https://www.nosler.com/varmageddon-bullet/

Nosler do seem the worst culprits for overstating BCs so wouldn't get too excited, that said the 40gr shoots well in my hornet
    Thanks for looking

There 55 grain. Got mine from The Country Store, Shustoke nr Coventry. They shoot to the same point as Nosler 55 grain BT boat tail but are a lot more distructive!
Loading mine to 3200 fps and they make a mess of whatever they hit. Perfect for fox's but head shot only for deer.

Elliot the small difference in BC will not make any difference to your bullet impact at normal ranges, even at 500yds it will be neglable. Comparing 53grn V-max with 55Grn Blitsking which have BCs of .290 and .271 respectively the difference bullet impact at 500yds is only 0.900"

Have you tried the 52gr Amax? They are very frangible.

There's loads in stock at the importers, have you asked local shop to order them for you? Varmageddons are very explosive and have shot well in everything I've tried them in from 17's to 30cals.
The toxicity of lead varies, depending upon the weight of its doseage and its velocity!

If that 's the case, I'll pop into the local RFD. I need some more 53gr V-Max so might try a box of those instead
