Just re-sprung the TX200. It's had a slightly bent spring for months. Bizarrely I have had a spare spring for months. With the house move etc I hadn't gotten around to it. It was feeling rougher at the bash so I got on with it. Now running around 10.6 and so much smoother.

    Nice one, Pete.

    How's your little chap doing?

Boingy things I must get around to doing include whipping that plastic fantastic little Gamo to bits and de-boing it. See if a tighter fitting guide can be made to fit or if a suitable spring with smaller ID can be sourced. And the screw-in end block HW50 that I managed to get recently felt in need of a fettle and slip a Rekord trigger in there.

One day I WILL get the time!

He is continuing to improve thanks Tone. He came out of the incubator into a heated cot yesterday for the first time.
A big step but still be some months before he is out of hospital. Maybe around the bash

Be great to have you back again, David.

Have you bought sis a gun yet?

Personally I wouldn't be polishing the cylinder. We gave the piston a light polish on Sunday, as you know. Any "roughness", lands / grooves etc in the cylinder will act as a "reservoir" for the moly grease, so I'd leave alone.

Maybe, just maybe, if you feel that you can't leave alone and feel in desperate need of more of a fettle, maybe smooth out the cocking slot on the piston (those on the cylinder were fine) and add a little more preload. But she seemed to be shooting very nicely and smoothly. I'd maybe be tempted to leave it alone for now.

Oh, and maybe just nip up the hinge bolt just a tiny smidge.

Excellent. Here's hoping that his improvement continues apace and no more setbacks.

    Red face Withdrawal symptoms

Good evening my fellow Boingies a £20 has been forwarded to Mick and although it is a long drive
it will be great to see you all again.
Also I will be able to indulge in shooting the bucket at midnight via my laser which is a strange new perversion I seem to have acquired.
