This last Bash of the year does indeed usually fall on the first weekend in November, John.

However, if you have a read at the first paragraph on Mick's opening post, you'll see why he thought it may be better to try the preceding weekend, avoiding people's family Bonfire commitments and benefitting from slightly longer days for the Friday and Saturday attendees before the clocks go back on Sunday morning.

Really hope you can manage to make it work for you.

The Sunday is possibly the only day I can make so I'll try and work around that Tony.

My other half is going up North next month but I don't think I'll be going. If I do, then a detour to Retford will be on if it fits your mad work schedule matey ? I must plan a little hunting weekend with our Chris sometime soon though
