I' looking for some .45-70 brass, new or used, can anyone point me in the right direction please?
I've seen a couple of places online which stock Starline & PPU but that's about all I've found.
Cheers
Greg
I think I have a set of die's and about 100 once fired/new cases in the shed.
Henry Kranks should have new brass in mate, Love this site

I've seen Remington, Winchester & Hornady brass here before in .45-70. Never thought to ask where it came from because at the time didn't realise that Starline & PPU was all that was available.
I've used PPU & Starline before in .44 mag and wasn't impressed with the quality of it.
Thanks for the other replies too guys
Greg
Have you tried wilson & Wilson or Roding armory for brass.
Bob
Take my word for it Starline is better then any R+P or WW brass.
TB.
Krank usually has Starline in stock, I've had no issues with it I have to say though that I had some Remington cases come with the rifle, only about 50 or so, I don't know how many times they had been reloaded when I got them & I've lost count how many times I've reloaded them, about 6 or so have split at the neck but the rest are still good but the Starline seem to just as durable up to yet.
If your using new case i would use the lee tool on the inside and outside of the neck, to stop the case splitting, Just to take the sharp edge off
Thanks for the replies guys. I'll probably give Starline a whirl.
Simon, when you say the "Lee tool" on the inside & outside of the neck do you mean a chamfer/duburr tool?
Cheers
Greg
