    I have not been the last three years as it was starting to become a bit too commercialised and less focused on shooting. Great if you want to buy wellies, over priced food or an Isuzu, but not much else.

    I remember reading a comment saying you would have a better/far cheaper day out going to a good RFD, Maccy d's, then the pub.

    I went Saturday with 2 mates and as most have pointed out very poor. wasn't to good last year but as with most events i.e mororcycle show at nec you are definatly getting less for your entry fee.

    I had been undecided if I should go or not with it being a 3 1/2 to 4 hour trip either way dependant on traffic. Weather forecast was the one thing that swayed me into staying at home although it was on my mind all weekend wondering if I had made the right decision. Pleased I never bothered now with all the negative reports coming through

    For us northern-ish types there's the Doncaster shooting show coming up shortly ;

    http://www.southyorkshireshootingshow.com/

    30th Sept and 1st October, £12 entry fee isn't too eye-watering.

    Cheers

    Now there's one I would have missed if not for BBS. I had absolutely no idea there was a show in Doncaster. Tickets booked online are £9.00 plus booking fee, worked out at less than a tenner a ticket

    I'm also glad I didn't bother now.

    Something to look forward to in possibly the most depressing month of the year!
