Steyr H5 Scout .177
Webley Accupel
Close second quite shockingly are:
Eley No1 Wasp!
Given the rate I fire this the Wasps are spectacular for plinking and almost as accurate as the Accupels which are 3x the price.

Weihrauch HW97 & 77. F&T Special Weihrauch branded (H&N I believe) .22
Daystate Huntsman Classic FAC JSB Exact Jumbo Diablo .22
Rohm Twinmaster RWS Meisterkugeln .177
My .177 Hw100 used to like H&N Field and Trophy 8.64 the best.
Found this very handy. Good idea.
My HW100kt likes air arms 4.52
Wolverine2 likes Accupell ft
HW110 .177
Likes AA Diablo field 4.52
Dislikes JSB Exact 4.52
HW45 .177
Likes AA Diablo field 4.52
But to be honest my skill level is pretty poor for pistols so for me probably any .177 pellet would do!

You need head size 4.51...2...3.y riflemloves 4.52 but hates 4.51
Without head size your much further forward imho.
If your into precision shooting such as bench/HFT & FT...die number helps.
I take my hat off to you but I think your making sawdust snowballs.

Hello everyone ,
This is my first post on the forum.
I like my old clunkers ( and they are ) HW77K/77/80 and my old Mercury..
Perhaps someone could help with pellet choices for the older BSA springers. I've ordered a couple of boxes of the Defiant Vintage .22 as they are the 5.6 mm apparently suited better for older British .22
Are they ok ?
I keep reading that many pellets these days are not what they were , ie the Wasp No 2?
Thanks for any help.
