Cool Sussex Interclub HFT 2017 - individual tables FINAL

    Hi Everyone

Well ... I've waited a week for any final comments or requests for adjustments to the scores posted after Round 10, so here we go with the results from all 10 rounds of the 2017 Sussex Interclub individual competition after totaling your best 6 rounds and ensuring that the class you're finally in reflects the class in which you shot the most rounds. As well the obvious grand total percentages achieved and final place, the table records the number of rounds shot and the badges won, including whether or not you won sufficient Gold badges to get the sought-after Platinum

Starting with the Open Class (the balance will follow shortly)

And finally (assuming the table fits on the BBS page), here are the final SIHFT Team results

    Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 Round 5 Round 6 Round 7 Round 8 Round 9 Round 10 Total Final Position
    Buxted 9 12 12 12 12 11 12 12 12 11 115 1
    Meon Valley 12 11 10 10 9 12 12 10 11 10 107 2
    Oaks 12 9 11 11 10 9 10 11 9 12 104 3
    Horsham 8 10 10 9 5 7 8 6 10 8 81 4
    Maldon 12 5 5 5 11 11 5 7 8 6 75 5
    Ford 5 8 8 8 6 5 9 8 7 10 74 6
    Iden Fern 8 8 6 6 8 8 7 5 7 6 69 7
    Swallows 6 6 8 7 7 6 6 9 5 7 67 8

I guess that winning 7 out of the ten rounds and coming 2nd in 2 of the remaining 3 was always going to result in the Buxted team coming out on top.

    Well done Hobbits

Well just thought someone ought to start reply!

    Woohoo!

    Go Team Buxted!

On a personal note, a couple of years ago things at home went pear shaped and my divorce went thru last August. I want to say something crass about how this has given me plenty of time to practice my shooting. It has of course - but that's not really the point. I'm not the only one in that boat and we all have our experiences. The point is I want to thank all my new HFT friends because you and this fabulous sport are what have helped keep me sane, and given me something to concentrate on. It's gone a long way to help save my mental health I can tell you.
So, thanks for putting up with me guys!

Big thanks to all the clubs that put on all series and everyone who helps setting up and taking down. It takes a lot of effort and time and we are all grateful.

See you (or not) in the dark at Oaks or Buxted.

    Regards,

    RogGriffin

I'll follow that up with a bloody well done to you and the other Buxted boys and girls. Well deserved individual and team Win
When one of your members scored a 56 and was not on your team score! Wow!
Also well done Jean, Abby, Wes (yeah go Oakies), Nick and Gary on class winning performances.
Also a begrudgingly well done to the Meon massive for relegating us to 3rd
Best series in the World? Probably Best bunch of people to spend a Sunday morning with? Definitely!

I will probably find myself at Ford setting it up tomorrow, but thanks for the invite There is so much to adjust I don't know where to start

Still very happy, I have taken a photo of it and given it a wipe down with some nice oil so it will love me.

    Regards,

    Hi Roger,

You words echo excatly what I have gone through and I couldn't agree with you more.

If it wasn't for the guys at Meon, espicaly a couple of them that (whether they know it or not) stepped up and help save my sanity (and they wern't the only ones) there's one special lady who has been of great support, who I would have never had met if I wasn't involved in our fantastic sport, making the friends that I have, then I have no idea of where I would have ended up.

"HFT help's keep me sane" ...... now theres a statment that I never thought i'd see!
