Quick question. Domed or Pointed. Which is best for shooting Feral Pigeons in an Abbey Ruin.

Domed. Make sure you get some practice at shooting at elevations as the point of impact will move up when you shoot at an angle.
Domed. I know there will be a few exceptions where certain folks will swear by Superpoints in such and such a gun - but by and large - pointed pellets are strictly for readers of the Beano.
Any quality Domed pellet.

I think the points are too prone to deformation to give a decent Diabolo any competition in the accuracy stakes, all things being equal they always seem to give bigger groups & more fliers. Get some & try them out on targets, you'll see what I mean.
For me I always found air arms Diabolo field
177 8.4 to group better in all of my guns except one.
I use them for both target and hunting.
For some reasons they worked for me marginally better than JSB.
Can't beat a light, fast, soft lead dome - just like JSB RS and Express...
Rob,
For me, the JSB Express or Exact would be my pellet of choice for such work.
For close range work, flat-headed match pellets can also be very effective.
Have fun & a good weekend

Never had any luck with the pointed variety. The aerodynamics are poor compared to the much more efficient domed/parabolic head pellet. Having said that H&N Hunter Extremes , Predator Polymag and Crosman Destroyers ( all semi wadcutter design ) proved highly accurate up to 35 yards in my KT 100 beyond which the lack of power of the sub 12 ft.lbs guns becomes evident and the pellet looses stability and accuracy.

I remember 8 year old me being blown away when I was first shown pointed pellets.
