It was bloody windy. Andy Day even managed to curl them in all the way from Malden😉
If this was Skegness they’d have described today as “bracing”. Instead we’ll go for flippin cold with a chill laden North wind coming straight from the Urals. You know its bad when you start desperately donning waterproofs in the hope they’ll act as an extra thermal layer. Despite this some people seemed to be genuinely enjoying the conditions. The rest of us weren’t smiling; it was facial rigour from lack of circulation.
This was a Cambridge rules course though so wind does tend to be a mandatory requirement along with kill zones that get smaller in direct proportion to the amount of string used getting longer. Yes, let us all rejoice, the 8mm targets were back along with another so far away it had a separate postcode.
Despite all this there were still some robust scores coming in; congratulations to Simon for the overall win and only score in the 50’s.
We hope to see you all again for the next shoot on Sunday 12th November.
