    Adjustable mounts which ones?

I've purchased a nice FX Wildcat, fitted my trusty Mamba Lite with high mounts and.......
    It's shooting a foot low.
I swapped the mounts front for back and it was the same.
I've ended up shimming the back mount and got it zeroed but it's kind of annoying me knowing its bodged abit.
Should I....... Try another set of high mounts, the ones I have on are of unknown make and maybe duff?

Or go straight to adjustable mounts?

I'm thinking adjustables, because they should definitely work.
The next question is which one?
    FX do a set £80😳
    Sportsmatch do several different options.
    I can't stretch to £80 right now
Which Mounts should I go for?

    It's for a 25mm tube.
I think I only need elevation adjustment.

That's why the sports match and FX mounts are so expensive because they are windage adjustable too.

    Mounts.

A friend has the exact same gun with the exact same problem. We fitted Sportsmatch ATP72 adjustable height mounts. His scope has a 1" tube so we fitted a pair of infill plastic shims also from the evil bay. Mounts were £73 post free. Worked a treat, especially as he plans to get a new scope soon with a 30mm tube.

I have a set of BSA Scopemaster 601 mounts which are fully adjustable and well made (probably rebranded B Square mounts) and they only cost about £31.80 off the bay. These would be my choice in your situation if they are not too low.

Unfortunately, my adjustable mount is for a 30mm tube (the AOP56 model), but our sponsor have the 25mm one at http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products...91;aop55].html cheaper than a lot of other places I could find.

How can it be that the 2 piece mounts are £70 and the one piece £35?
