In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

Never put your dwarf washing out in the rain was one of the golden survival rules I was taught by the Feckawi pigmies

.....or at least it's an unfortunate term for the liberal times we live in!

    Hi Binners
I've got a neighbour who was ranting last night about how much he would like to buy a BSA to 'go with' his BSA Trail Bike he is currently restoring.... (a 'Bantam-like' version they made for the Australian market apparently). He's shot both my 1905 First Batch (serial: 1946 courtesy of Pegasus) and 1930 Standard (S46688 from Garvin's stable), and this could be perfect.

G@nst*r has 3 or 4 available from a gunshop in Brighton - but i'd rather he buy from a reputable collector.
....Unfortunately that really only leaves you at the moment (or Garvin)...

I'll forward on the pics and ask him tonight.

can you hold it for 24 hours...? (or will that restrict the circulation in your wrist?)

    best
    Richard

Well quite clearly I meant there are ONLY reliable members to be found on this board...
....and just as clearly this is the only Standard offered at the moment - and it is obviously a very nice example.

    ANYWAY....
...the answer is a very BIG YES PLEASE.

Tell all the poor no-hopers and chancers that the old girl is now spoken for. I'll pm my number so we can discuss best way to pick up.

Many thanks - and the seasons greetings to all my readers!

Appreciated. This one fits the bill (and my friend's wish list) very neatly while being close enough as well.
    Cheers,
