Better to admit you walked through the wrong door than spend your life in the wrong room
Personally, I'd replace the breech seal and re chrono' it before she comes apart. If it's still low then maybe a full piston seal and guide tune up. You could even consider short stroking it. But you might just find the five quid seal fixes it.
many thanks for your advice ive just been searching on line and found this kit http://www..com/products/
do you think its any good ?
ps ill try the breach seal 1st.
My money would go on the maxi kit from here. Best £43 you'll ever spend on a springer

If the breech seal looks flat, replace it.
If when stripped the piston seal looks brown and feels brittle in any way replace that too.

yes its the TbT kit although I cant work out how to purchase from there website !! its seems theres no buy button.
Can't go wrong with a TbT
HW77K .22, HW100KT .22, HW95K .22. AA TX200 MK3 .22. AA S410 MK3 .177. HW80 .25 HW30S .22. Pistols: Walther CP88 .177, Hatsan Mod25 Supercharger .22, HW45 Silver Star .177, Webley Alecto .177, SMK Victory CP2 .22
Also be mindful of what pellets you're using.
If you are getting 9.5 with pellets that are inefficient, this may well equate to well over 11 with a more efficient variety.

NEXT EVENT :- May 17/18, 2025.........BOING!!
Given its a HW80 and depending on budget a simple regrease with new seals may do exactly as you want it. Can't blame you for wanting more though!!
It's strange, usually keeping the power down on the 80 is the problem
Stick a ox spring in it but check power to keep yourself right https://www.gunspares.co.uk/products...-Airsporter-S/
excellent advice tbt kit on order many thanks
