At last, I managed to get my hands on one for review after so many requests
Here is my review on the BSA Ultra SE : Cracking little rifle for the money.

Just a small point, don't watch the guns gauge whilst filling, look at your bottle or pump gauge, much more accurate. Otherwise good review of an excellent rifle.
You might want to try a comparison between that and the Gamo Phox, see if the Ultra is worth the extra....
Thanks all for the kind comments. I loved this rifle, the only problem being the low shot count, but apart from that, well worth the money IMHO.
Great for juniors and beginners alike
Point noted about the gun gauge.

On a warm day I get 50 shots out of my Ultra se in .22. Very impressive from such a small cylinder, however not as many in this cold weather, as with most pcp, s.
Still use my two almost exclusively for work, both in .177. Can't fault them at all. Completely mistreat them, they rarely get cleaned, never jam.
I toyed with buying a hw110 but decided why bother, these are like extensions of me.
As most of my work is at night and usually cold I get forty good shots per fill, if it's a silly busy rat night it can seem like I spend more time back at the van filling than shooting but the breaks do keep me focused into the wee hours.
