I can't comment on the Ranger but my Daughter has a Wolverine b (mk1) with a 500cc bottle and is really happy with it. It groups as well as my Air Wolf and also feels lighter.
You could try the DOC for more detailed advice.
Am considering a bottle fed Daystate and was wondering which would be a better buy between an Air Ranger and a Wolverine.
Any comments or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Got a ranger used a wolverine they shoot like the same gun to me
I have a ranger and love the gun, I would pick it over the others only on the basis of being able to adjust the power very easy if needed. I have been picking up some bits to make mine power adjustable,
I've also had the air wolf and i do like the triggers on the electric Daystates,
Had a regulated Ranger and sold it to get the Wolverine B. I really wish I'd kept the ranger.

Either gun is a superb shooter but if looking at 2nd hand many rangers are now around bottle replacement age so factor that in when pricing them up, chap i know bought a mint looking gun then go told during a service his bottle will expire in 4 months....
The Ranger has served me well but I haven't shot the wolverine although I can't see there being to much difference, I would imagine though you would pick up a ranger cheaper than a wolverine which is a bonus

Get them both
Hi Bud
Now you know what you really want
I had the mk1 ranger which I feel was the best DS as it had a proper regulator, and the only DS bottle gun that did afik.. It was ok, a long rifle with silencer fitted and mine needed one, not one actual problem mate but never super accurate but now I know barrels etc can be worked on !!! I sold that to get an airwolf but sadly that was a Friday afternoon gun and I had problems and was not as good as the ARmk1, I then tried a rapid which I liked .
after speaking to you at the range, we both know what you really want, but is it a mk2 or MFR
Chris
