I've just spent an hour pellet testing with the new S510 and bizarrely the JSB exacts (4.53) are an amazing amount more accurate than AA Diablo field (4.52). Not just a little bit but a lot. I find it strange when they are such a similar pellet to have this difference. At 20 yards (back garden) with the JSB's its almost pellet on pellet. With the AA's i'd be hard pushed to cover the entire 10 shot group with a two pence piece. The AA's are producing a 70 percent accuracy rate with 30 percent flyers. All the same had great fun after zeroing shooting grapes off cocktail sticks and then taking down the cocktail sticks one by one.

With JSBs Mike, it seems to have more to do with finding a batch that shoot well in a particular barrel, than the given head size.

Do any of the boingeratti have a spare Crosman pistol hanging around by chance! Pump or co2, I feel the need.......
Better to admit you walked through the wrong door than spend your life in the wrong room
My Crosman pistols are all keepers, Nick.
New 2240s can be had very cheaply. And, as you'll no doubt be aware, there's LOADS you can do to the 2240/1377/1322, but be careful not to get too carried away.

Yep, the stock (and many more parts) are interchangeable.
My mini-carbined 1377 (the shoulder stock, steel breech and 4x32 scope) is VERY accurate.
The shoulder stock is not grippy at the shoulder. Combined with the okay-ish, but not brilliant, standard trigger and light all-up weight, you do have to concentrate on keeping the sight picture right through the firing sequence and follow-through, but the rewards are there if you work at it. 5 shot groups at 10m barely larger than a single pellet hole.
