    They have a 77grn.

If you stick in the middle you won't go much wrong. If you want more FPS and increase powder then look for pressure signs.

That's what I've done. Would have been nice to know what Hornady or Vit say though. Getting a pretty good result with 36grns N150 with Lapua brass and 75grn V-Max.

Only a few cartridges have changed, as link above. 6.5 x 55 Skan is still a mess!
    Thanks for looking

Thanks. Must write them a strong letter lol. I know N140 is probably a better powder for. 243 but it was OK for. 308.

Lee do list it for lightish bullets in 243 though, just not the v-max

Vhit140 for light bullets, and Vhit 160 for heavier ones.

It's never that simple is it. Sheesh.

As a rule (And forgive me if I'm teaching you to suck eggs, not trying to patronise you) the faster burning powders i.e. N110 are better for lighter and smaller bullets then the slower burning powders i.e. N170 to reduce the possibility of overpressure.

The heavier bullets have more inertia and therefore need a slower, longer 'push' than a fiery 'bang' from a fast powder if that makes sense.

They both mean in the 243...

I meant you install the app, click on rifle reloading and it just redirects to the Viht website load data - may as well skip the middle man and just go to the website in the first place!!
    Thanks for looking
