And all linked in with today's Sleepometer reading.........88 to go.

Which also happens to be the model designation for the new Weihrauch HW88.

I'll let Hermann take over.......

"Launched in the Spring of 2018, this exciting new rifle builds on existing technologies but encompasses the arts of the many spring gun tuners around the World."

"Based loosely on the time proven HW80, this new model employs an 'under block' manual breech lock for silent operation. The 80mm stroke is retained. Guns for high power markets will remain at 30mm bore. Guns for restricted power markets will employ a 24mm bore. All variants will make use of synthetic bearing technology, leading to quieter operation and enhanced longetivity."

"Each rifle will have the internal components expertly hand fitted and are built to the very highest custom standards. Springs are hand finished and mated with individually fitted front and rear guides. Even the legendary Rekord trigger is further improved with extra attention paid to the accuracy and finish of all components and, again, individually hand built and tuned by master trigger technicians. Each rifle is lovingly hand assembled and lubricated using the very highest quality, high performance lubricants and is then subjected to rigorous testing of all operations and performance parameters".

"The stock is very similar to that of the HW98, offering adjustable cheek piece and butt pad but also now with the facility to adjust the reach to pull."

"Deliveries will commence in March 2018, with the first batch of 24mm bore rifles destined for the UK market, for timely arrival for the Quigley Hollow Airgun Meeting".

See.......told you it was a bit special!
