They don't come up for sale too often. I know someone who's been looking for one for quite a while.

I think there was one up for sale on the free ads site....along wth a hw35e for £75,mind you the hw was in an area where one or three scams have been done in the past.

Yes the freeads air arms was local to me and sold for £160, it looked to be in nice condition.
Fairly sure the 88 is the rarest of them all!!

Re post on The Boinger Bash Thread.
Post #8 brings back some lovely memories.
THE BOINGER BASH AT QUIGLEY HOLLOW. MAKING GREAT MEMORIES SINCE 15th JUNE, 2013.
NEXT EVENT :- May 17/18, 2025.........BOING!!
Yes ... most desirable.
The EX88 was the first 'proper' air rifle I bought my daughter all those years ago. It boinged a bit and out of the box was a tad ott. But a strip etc cured it all to give a very sweet rifle. One issue was the plastic piston sleeve for which the end broke off .. the end that sits flat in the end of the piston. I remember mentioning this to AA at a game fair (Midland, early days???) and they sent me a new sleeve.
Cheers, Phil
Although it's the rarest, In my eyes it's not the nicest!!

Wow thats a minter john!
That is very very nice, and the stock design is pretty good. Functionality, if not looks, would suggest a deeper fore-end, but the cheek piece and general back 50-70% looks very good.
