Am I alone in finding the above remark offensive - or have I missed some sort of "in" joke?

Whats considered the Target model?, I can find little that shows this as a different pistol and when I try to look up MK1 Target it comes up with the MK1 as I got today, I've also gained a couple of nice pellet tins with the pistols, one a Webley and the other a Lanes along with an oil bottle so I'm thinking the correct thing to do is get a couple of boxes, I have some Burgundy Baize and some nice period brass clasps and hinges so fitted cases it is....This is a whole new hobby
What type of oil bottle ?

It was following a comment earlier in the thread which was a very off the cuff remark as in a "rather do that than collect Webley's" response, IJ would have meant no offence what so ever to anyone (other than possibly Webley pistol collectors)

Not a Webley one, Its a small metal bottle with a screw cap that has a dropper pin fixed in it and a small spout on the bottle, Can see any markings on the bottle but it's a nice item

Nail on the heed. I would hate to offend anyone on here except, of course, Wobbly pistol (and Relum Tornado ) owners. They are fair game.
Consider it fishing without getting cold and wet. Some bite - some dont. Its all in fun.

OK I now (sort of) get it and I thank you for explaining.

In response to your explanation :-

It's just that I know blind people and so (I hope) you can see that the idea that they get shit on their hands is not, per se, hilarious although I can now accept that you were making an extreme point with regard to your opinion of Webleys.

Isn't it about time we Webley fans started slagging off Kraut crap, or are we too well mannered.

    Lovely little Premier

The Mayor: Intent? How did you establish that?
Harry Callahan: When a man is chasing a woman through an alley with a butcher’s knife and a hard-on, I figure he isn’t out collecting for the Red Cross.

You can't just drop that in with no explanation other than "horrible"!

Is it that you don't like things that have long production runs, like Webley pistols and FWB springers?
Too many guns, or not enough time?
