Put a HW98 on that list.
Good fun with the TX200 this morning. Kept up with a couple of Steyrs in the mint shooting stakes once I had zeroed the new scope.

I travel alone
I had a 98 once, SFS tuned and a very nice gun, but somehow we couldn't quite live together, and after a while it doubled the number of guns I have ever sold.
Current shortlist, completely unaffected by rational analysis, or any other form of logical thinking, but steered by prejudice and impulsive preference, is:
LGV - because my NickG'd LGU is so impossibly accurate (but not particularly pleasant to shoot)
HW95 - because my V-Mached 95 in .22 has such a lovely firing cycle that it a danger to my emotional health (but the .177 may not be quite so nice)
HW80 - because I have never had one, and worry that my life will not be complete until I do
FWB Sport - do I need a reason? My 300S just makes me want something else by FWB
But all this could change by April!

Sudden decision had us traveling up to Bristol today, and l managed to add another meet up with yet another bash stalwart, Jonny! It's almost like train spotting now ticking individuals off.
HW77K .22, HW100KT .22, HW95K .22. AA TX200 MK3 .22. AA S410 MK3 .177. HW80 .25 HW30S .22. Pistols: Walther CP88 .177, Hatsan Mod25 Supercharger .22, HW45 Silver Star .177, Webley Alecto .177, SMK Victory CP2 .22
I had a proper testing session with the new 98 today. My other half took my boy to a kids party at 2.00pm. By 2.05pm I was set up and blasting away. Once I got it zeroed and put a few pellets through the barrel it settled down nicely. Quite surprised with the kick from it although amazingly accurate. The weighted barrel definitely does its job for sure. Its was grouping 15-20mm at 25 yards with AA diablo's and I reckon that will tighten up a bit as it settles and everything beds in. If I get chance tomorrow i'm going to bung some H and N FTT's through it for comparison.
