Ok your not going to believe this. just went out and combro chrono ed my rifle. Took my own advice and checked bore with yellow plastic thingeymebob....and promptly shot it out without removing it . flew accross the garden and i was trying to figure out what was happening, took me few seconds to realize what i had done.
Checked combro, no damage , all it said was bad shot´ no sh!!t thingeymebob is bit skew wiff though
Anyway i am now forming an ultra exclusive club, anyone care to join
I don't have the yellow alignment tool but I do use my cleaning rod, I pulled the rod out but forgot to tighten the thumbscrew, BANG!! it all went down the garden

I seem to destroy a combro on average every three years. Five up to now but have not tried the yellow barrel line up trick yet! Sounds like fun to me.

Worst one I saw was a mate offering to shade the sensors with his hand on an R10 we were chronoing with one.He nearly got the end of his finger shot off.(I did tell him they didn't need shading in sunlight!) Luckily the combro survived intact & his fingernail grew back fine....

So this badge, I think it says, "I shot my Combro" with some faux bullet holes around the word "Combro". Silver with a blue hard enamel perhaps?
Or do we have a resident badge designer?
Its easy to shoot a Combro. Now an F1 takes skill
You can spend thousands and still miss a barn door or spend just enough and enjoy yourself. If you haven't got the talent to start with a million pound won't fix it. Whippet, Russell, a few bang sticks and a flat cap. http://www.smart-tech1st.co.uk
Yes I must confess to destroying mine quite well, tried all sorts of things but never got the hang of getting it to stay in the right place, very tight fit in the mounting bracket but still managed to escape. Very accurate but ----------------.
Cheers.

Been there and bought the tee shirt!!
I had owned it from new for less than 24 hours (Have a look what it says under my username!! )
I bought a C.A.R.D. Pellet Spy, I daren't even try ity as I know for sure what it's fate would be!!
By the way, I put it down to being a speccy four eyse now!!, When I reverse my car to a wall, I can't seem to tell how far I am from the wall since I had to wear glasses, I stop thinking i'm pretty close then get out and have a look, It looks like I reversed with a trailer attached then someone knicked the trailer!!!

Hello, shooting a F1 takes skill but putting a poly carbonate sheet in front to protect it should be OK, but if you mess it up and the pellet just touches the screen, flips and clips the metal plate halfway along where it folds and continues to hit the rear sensor and goes through to the rear metal of the case that takes skill.
The real Lucky bit is when it misses everything, puts a hole in the printed circuit board and it still works. Tough or what. Covered the hole with a piece of black insulating tape.
Cheers.

I did the same
