If we are talking vintage, I think the bonehill britania is a very elegant design, and the Mk1 and 2 airsporters too.
Sitting here looking and holding my new to me BSA MK2 wondering if any other design has been as graceful? It’s too cold here to go out and shoot the thing so I’m left to ponder. All lubricated up and nowhere to go. Lol

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
I have to say, I think the mk1 with it's tapered barrel just pips it at the post!!

BSA Centenary.
Daystate Huntsman.
ISP Spartan.....end of........no competition
WANTED: Next weeks winning lottery numbers :-)
mk 1s and 2s yes very elegant;for me only beaten by the slightly shorter club model, only handled one once, very nice.
To my eye the Webley Service Mk2 is probably unsurpassed for sheer design beauty - olde worlde charm coupled with superb workmanship. I particularly love the way the steps from barrel to cylinder, and breech to stock, have been graduated, so no disruption to the lines, unlike the Mk1 rifle.
