Same here ?
I'm getting the above message when trying to upload photos for my sales threads.
I've looked through my settings but can't spot anything there that could be causing the issue.
Any suggestions?

Law of any kind only affects those willing to abide by it.
I assume you are correctly clicking the 'attachment' icon on the toolbar, not the 'photo' icon?
The attachment icon is top row, third from right.
The photo icon is middle row, fourth from right.

Yep, I tried using the attachment icon.
Too much data, edit/resize down the photo.
You are trying to add it using the "manage attachments" link under the dialogue box not linking direct aren't you

I just tried to upload 3 new attachments into a new Sales thread. It worked fine for me.
Could be something you're doing wrong. Could the image is too big, or a wrong file type.
Can you walk us through what you're doing?

1) Click the 'attachment' icon
2) Click 'Add Files'
3) Click 'Choose File'
4) Locate the file you want from your computer
5) Click the image and select 'Okay' or 'Choose' (I'm using a Mac)
6) Click 'Upload'
7) Click 'Insert Inline'
8) Confirm upload
9) Click 'Preview thread' and if suitable, click 'Submit Reply'
If you're getting an error after this, then you are doing it wrong, or trying to upload an image that does not meet policy.

I've just tried using the manage attachments tool for a new sales ad.
I tried to upload a photo in jpeg format - 3.61mb.
It failed.
In that case, can you tell us A) how big the file is B) what is the file type?
Go to each file and, if you're using a Windows computer, right-click on the image and click 'Properties'.
The file type will be a .jpg, .png etc. and the file size will be in kb or even mb.
Thanks

I will start by saying I'm sxxt with technology, so can't explain how it works but..... Sometimes I take a picture of a scope for example and it won't upload the pics, move the scope, take another picture and presto it works like I say absolutely no idea what's happening though

Thanks for the advice - I'll try and get some images together with a smaller file size.
