    Does a Weihrauch HW95 stock fit a HW97?

    Does a Weihrauch HW95 stock fit a HW97?

I have a HW95 fitted with a Custom Stocks CS500 Sporter stock and wondered if the stock would fit a HW97?

    Any help gratefully received.

    Regards

    Haydn

... Wouldn't've thought so as one is a break-barrel and one is an under lever, so the under slots will be different as will the screw holes (but am more than happy to be proved wrong ) ...

Hi Haydn, as this thread concerns a custom CS stock, why not contact CS stocks direct, as they may be able to advise on a modification to make it fit? Interesting thread: keep us posted.

Although I can't measure any guns right now, would I be correct in guessing that the outside diameter of the cylinder / receiver of the 77/97, 80 and 35 will be slightly larger than that of the 95?

no chance. 30mm cylinder vs 26mm, so the ODs will be similarly different. Never mind the completely different inletting. HW80 to 77/97 is possible, but even then thre are some changes.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
