I prefer BSA and prefer older s/h and then JB blueprinted so I guess my BSAs are custom spec. I prefer the sturdy barrel planted well into breach block
There are plenty of Webley Raiders around too and old Titan/ Falcon rifles - all good budget bets
I have a Brum Raider 2 shot and a very good tool it is. Mine is a bit pellet fussy liking Bisley Super field, Superdomes and AA pellets mainly also even though I fitted an Anti Fart kit from a reputable source of the time it still emits a hint. Feels nice in the shoulder too. Also recommend a BSA Spitfire, mine has been breathed on by JD and apart from loosing air over couple nights which isn't an issue it's an absolutely cracking carbine to use. Reminds me of my old Brum made Lighting to handle.
John Darling JD (1946-2004) was my inspiration to be the best i can and enjoy the sport i love. R.I.P
