A fraction over 3,000 MarkI's in total, including the SR's. Lefty actions should be pretty rare. I have a well used lefty in walnut and it shoots so accurately.
Does anyone know how many left hand mk1 tx200 were made?

AA told me there was a different method to the record keeping, back when MarkI's were around, but hopefully they may have an answer.
Dunno but I have one - that I put in a RH stock. Very handy when shooting rested - I cock with the right hand, maintain RH on underlever, and load with the left
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
Also my preferred method, cock with the right, load with the left, never let go of the lever. I have to shoot it lefty, sadly, as I'm right handed with a blind right eye. Even though I'm right handed, I load with either hand easily. Can never quite understand the fellows that struggle.
I cock using my right hand holding onto the lever like my fingers depend on it (because they DO. Mk 1s had no anti-b ) and because my left arm is goosed (with 'Arthur') Also my lead eye is my left.

My .177 Pro Elite, now sold, came with a manual that stated it was tested with a 16 gr. AA field pellet. HW aren't immune either. A friend that used to sell them for Beeman said that he'd seen several test targets with the wrong caliber holes in it. Just a comment on how record keeping isn't always the best.
