    Schofield wooden butt scales?

Does anyone know of anyone making/selling wooden replacements for the plastic butt scales of the Schofield, please?

Thanks, billywhizz, I'll look forward to that! The plastic ones don't look bad, but I'd just like wooden ones.

the other thing you can do is very lightly sand down the plastic grips with some 1000 wet or dry paper, this takes off the shine and makes them look more like wood, ive done mine and they turned out ok. the other thing that ive done is too alter the hammer stroke so that the hammer sits closer too the pistol at rest ,it looks much better than having the hammer stuck out in mid air.

there is a vid on you tube which explains it, but I filed away some of the material on the trigger /hammer activator, is kinda hard too explain.there are only 4/5 small phillips screws that hold the left side of the body covering the hammer trigger units,if you take this off !!!watch out behind it is a tension spring which flies out but is ok to get bck in ,put a little grease on it help it stick onto place. so watch the vid is a good idea first. ive just tried too find a link too it but no joy yet sorry , but its deff on you tube , a german or Belgium guy .ok I found another vid on you tube called fixing my colt saa,by a guy called greygun 64
