Old shop clear out, these were in a tin. Seem to be some kind of anvil for old black power shooters.

They must be antique ones then? All the ammo I reloaded with Boxer primers never had an anvil like these chunky heavy ones, and Berdan ones have the anvil as part of the case.

Shape and size makes me thing shotgun primer anvils.
Likely rather old, new one have a pretty distinctive shape but they've very similar.
You used to buy them with the primer cup seperate then fix them to gether before reloading, mainly Eley sure fire.
Have a few left over from late 40s.
