Revised sear spring arrangement...

The spring is from the valve, there is no adjustment, but it is just a bit over 500g pull, checked with my home made target trigger weight.
This is all getting very addictive.

that'll do it I make my guides so that when the sear releases the guide bottoms out just after so you get an over pull stop
After lots of rested test shots, I am now convinced that the barrel has had it...
Ideally, I would like to put a 14 inch 177 barrel on it, using the existing brass front end. What would be involved in making such a modification?
Things I think might be a problem are:
Sourcing a barrel at a reasonable cost.
Getting the old barrel out of the breech.
Making the probe compatible with the new barrel.
What other advice can any of the wise folk offer?
Cheers,
Mark.

finding a barrel will be an issue only option is to get one from alliance (bit dear imo)or get one from gmac in 24" and either have them do the machining or find someone else to do it
getting the original barrel out will be fun and will either involve heat and collets or easier to just cut it off and have the remainder machined out
I have a drawing for the spec on the leade into the barrel
far easier to get a new style steel breech then all you nee to do is get the 24" barrel from gmac cut to 14 and recrowned
Hmmmm...
This is getting a bit of a dear do.
Maybe a 10 inch barrel is long enough, and maybe the odd flyer just adds a bit of excitement.
Perhaps the crown could do with some attention, and I will just concentrate on making it look pretty...
