Didn't Daystate make an SSP for a few years 1988-95 ? May be wrong, the one I am thinking of may have been a PCP. The stock shape looked familiar.

BE AN INDEPENDENT THINKER, DON'T FOLLOW THE CROWD
A man can always use more alcohol, tobacco and firearms.
Looks to me like a one-off. Could even be a Bowkett one-off, perhaps.
The Daystate Sportsman was based on the earlier Titan Mohawk. When Titan stopped making the Mohawk Daystate either bought up the remaining parts or kept them briefly in manufacture to make their version of an SSP.
Justin: no further hints?
The owner is of the impression that it may be one of JB's, but looking at it, it is not like any I own or have seen over the years and certainly too well presented to be a prototype, as mentioned earlier I suspect it may be a one off by another very talented individual .... I'm still trying to obtain some history... I have met a couple of very competent guys in the past that have produced excellent "Home Made" examples of airguns that would put some of the mainstream manufacturers to shame and which bear no identification marks to show their provenance ... this could be the first SSP
I'd say that's a prototype of the Dragon.
Daystate made the sportsman, it's not one of those.

To me, it has the look of a prototype about it.
