Similar to the thoughts of a european border checkpoint guard in the late 80's when they opened a case containing a prototype G11 from H&K. H&K had sent it to a company I was working for and only casually revealed later that it wasn't a working dummy but a full working prototype, complete with ammo. One of the partners suggested they put it in their safe over the weekend while they sorted out what to do with it...went home.... forgot about it... and then went for a drive across the border. Luckily for those concerned the plastic and futuristic look lead the inspectors to think it was just a kids toy.... as opposed to a preproduction protoype of what was being offered as a potential pan NATO personal weapon.
