    THE RULES

    Cambridge Ultimate Rules

Everybody gets one call for marshal to target check, broken strings are the only exception.

Any part of your body or gun must be touching the peg, in case if there’s no peg the numbers will be attached to what is defined as the peg, could be a tree or log.

The position of the target must not be beyond 45 degrees perpendicular from the firing line.

High shots can be no greater than 45 degrees from the firing line for example, a target 20 yards away can be up to 20 yards from the ground.

All targets must have at least 10mm around the kill, this includes shots taken from a kneeling and standing position.

The whole kill must be seen from at least one side of the peg.

Ranges of targets: 30 shot course

8-15mm kills from 8-25 yards maximum of 6 targets on the course

    16-25mm kills from 8-35 yards

    26-35mm kills from 8-45 yards

36-40mm kills from 8-55 yards maximum of 4 targets on the course

Positionals 35mm kills up to 35 yards with 10mm around kill

All positional shots will be supported maximum of 6 shots, for example there could be 5 standers and 1 kneeler or 2 standers and one kneeler on the course.

Position of standers and kneelers will be the same as UKAHFT rules, that means for kneelers your rear foot must be parallel with your leg and be perpendicular to the ground, you cannot sit on the side of your foot neither laces touching the ground, you may use a kneeling bag to support your ankle but maintain 3-point contact with the ground, reverse kneeling is allowed. Failure to comply will result in a 0.

Ultimate rules will be a 6 round course where your best 4 scores will be added up for final score. The overall winners of each class be engraved onto a plaque to be crowned the HFT ultimate shot. Classes are open, recoiling, ladies, .22 and junior. Usual medals will be given at the end of each round .
