Did you get that direct from Colin ?
I thought he was just moving premises and was still contactable on mobile.

I've just spoken with R&S Plating (where Colin used to work out of) and also Manchester Airguns who both said Colin is working elsewhere and has finished with the bluing

I've not managed to get in contact with Colin himself.

I hope someone can tell me otherwise?

    Cheers

Let me know if you find anyone, as I too have some parts that I would like a price for.

Cheshire gun room has a blueing service but I have no experience of it. If I get time, I'll enquire further

Have been given RichardH as a contact , he initially responded to my PM , but I have been unable to get through to him
since either by PM or E mail . I have seen that at least one other person is having the same problem.
RichardH if you see this please give me a contact number .
    Cheers

That's a shame, but good luck to him. Dave at SCR recommended Colin a couple of weeks ago, looks like he's going to need another bluer now!

Good luck to Colin for the future, he must have his reasons for his decision.

Does anyone know who bought his equipment from him and if the work will be on par with Colin's?

There may be some positive news on the horizon for blueing soon. Colin has sold his gear this is true, I believe the person who bought his gear will be up and running in the not too distant future but I don't have a date yet. I will let the forum know if I am told first! Please don't hassle me for info as I don't yet know myself, I will tell you when I know facts, no guesses or maybes!

Perhaps not who you'd send something vintage to for restoration though.
