There's been one or two but I'd have to go for a stunning Venom Arms Sidewinder Varminter .22 one of only 3 made and totally pristine.
Superb example of airgun engineering by top airgunsmiths at the turn of the millenium and I feel privileged to own it !
“An airgun or two”………
mine would have to be my air arms s300 in cracking nick for £200,but a close second is my airsporter s witch i got for £170
phill.
My Rapid .20 spends more time outside than in ,real work horse.
Falcon Prairie CS.22 Huntsmans .20 Theoben .20 & .22 FAC
DS Timberwolf good looking rifle and one hell of a cracking rifle works first time every time accurate as hell.
Mmmm...A BSA Superstar, another, another, same in Carbine and a BSA Challenger Carbine for such a low price I am too embarrassed to say (no, not from a frail pensioner widow, my conscience would not allow that, but, on the other hand if it prevents going to the metal skip), all 0.22.
air arms 410k in 22 faultless
For me its a .177 Airsporter.
I bought a .22 reluctantly in March 1978 my first big spend with an apprentice pay packet - I could never get one in .177 at the time so for me really happy to have found one in good order!
If it has a trigger, I'm gonna enjoy it!
Mine must. E getting a six mouth old daystate hi-lite, having fired less than a tin of pellets for £650
another BSA superstar. someone in a pub wanted £20 so i gave it to him.
the only thing i can find wrong is the nut on the steering wheel.
I would have said my latest mk1 rapid but I've just picked up a lovely crossman 2200w, I sold my magnum a few years back which I did regret, So dived on this when I seen it, Just takes me back to when I was a kid and had a magnum back then,
Has to be my LGV with the Jim Tyler "simple tune" (TX200 spring, loads of preload and TP opened to 3.0mm). I just don't see how any gun could be nicer to shoot, with the bonus of costing very little!
This VMach .177 HW97 for 200 sov's!!
Also this .22 Original 50 type01 that I sold years ago and yearned to get it back!!
