    Valuation for.177 Webley Omega.

As above, just as it left the shop, but unfortunately I do not have a box for it. It is unmarked.
I would appreciate suggestions as to it's value.

Lovely rifle and in the more desirable Calibre in my opinion, my personal guess would be £250 ish, possibly a bit more...

I would have thought more like £150/200, it's an old mass produced gun and thousands were made, add in it was overshadowed at the time by Weihrauch and it's not the most desirable one around then you not looking at a high figure.

When you look at what you get new for £200 its got to be at least that. £250 in that cal and condition, they don't come up that often like that.

I agree. £250+ mark. I looks from the photos very good condition and it has the open sights, front and back which must be worth £30 on their own.

At this time of year though ?

Looks like a post-1986 Omega carbine with a 14” barrel. With the later sights (no big white plastic screw bushing in the rear?) and probably later trigger.

Nice. I’d say .177” is definitely £220-250, probably at the higher end in that apparent condition. Maybe £275 to the right buyer.

Stick it up for sale at £275 and come down as required - we will soon all know it's value!

Is that the carbine or full length version?

I will be looking for one in about six months time and would happily pay £275 for a full length one in .177 in mint condition. Sadly not the right timing for me.
A tidy used example can be found for £160 or so. Mint will hold a very good premium. And the Omega is a desirable rifle having never been made in huge numbers and only for a relatively short time; plus its a good looker and handles well.

    It's a carbine with a 15" barrel.

How does it shoot-has it been shot?
Always fancied one of these-Webley only really bettered it with the Longbow.
    Never go off half cocked....

I have only cocked and fired it Graham, just to make sure it works, so I can't comment on it's performance.
