    Can we please delete the photos of all this boingery loveliness?

    Take a good close look at the photo, Arthur.

    Just like I didn't.

    And you'll see that it's a rammed Webley Omega.

    Correct! Its from the Wallis & Wallis auction. An adjustable gas ram NOT a gas strut. I contacted Theoben to see if they had any knowledge of this rifle and they didn't. Was Webley infringing on their patent? Whatever reason - this rifle, if it had gone into production would have been a winner.

    yeah it's a proper two piece ram, not a sealed unit. Looks interesting.
    Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

    Correct! I see you have a copy of the Wallis & Wallis catalogue.

    I also managed to aquire a few other interesting items from that auction and I never actually went.

    I thought it might have been a Webley, Tony, but I couldn't have identified the model.
