Lidl and Aldi do scopes for around £20.
20-60 mag.
Perfectly adequate for the money but if you don't get on with it then you can take it back within 3 months (iirc) for a full refund.
Cheers

Looking for a spotting scope that is capable of picking up .17 & .22 on paper from 25m out to 100m-125m without breaking the bank, managed without one for all these years but the old legs are getting tired now.
What do you guys make use of.

tested out to 500m all new parts
we built 2 of these for our 22lr 17hmr ranges...like you said better than walking to see if you hit ha
Used Kowa from that auction site although I've used an old 1960's 30 x Greencat for years now which does all I need out to those distances.
Remember, it is the strongest character that God gives the most challenges.
I have a little Minox MD50 which is great and up to 30x mag, but not sure about being able to see .17 holes at >100m though as I've never tried it. Are we talking a high contrast "shoot n see" type target, a steel plate, or holes in white/black paper at these ranges?
I generally make use of white card targets as cant see holes on black at 10m let alone 100m, never used the shoot and see targets as always considered them a little gimmicky having managed without them for 50 years....
Black holes in white card may be about manageable to see at 100 yards/metres then with a ~30x scope.
