    So who is going Wednesday to view the air rifles. It's the only day for viewing which seems a bit unreasonable

    Interesting that buyers fees on this auction are 30% and on the US auction for the late Ingvar Alm collection it's 18.5% with a 3.5% discount for cash

    I think it's 24% The salesroom charge 5.9% just to let you bid though from them, best to bid live at the auction or by phone.

    The engraved Whiscombe JW70Mk2 Lot14 sold for £6600 + charges!!!

    That's 8200 with fees give or take a few quid!

    That depends on the specs of a new one... I guess sky is your limit when you order one of these, but this certainly is no bargain

    I had a look the two spartans the 22 was a bit plain the 177 was better but there was a couple of dinks and the blueing was a bit thin

    well I got a couple of bits, one for far less than I was willing to pay and the other for what I was willing to pay so I have gone away a happy boy

    With a few notable exceptions it was like watching an auction from 25 years ago. The dealers would have had plenty of opportunity to replenish their stocks (no pun intended!).
