A very challenging mornings shooting especially with the wind playing a big part, not least in making it necessary to watch out for trees and branches falling. The course was also affected by branches and trees that had fallen across the firing lines and presenting some natural obstacles.
Best shot on the day was Jon Newton-May with an impressive 55 so congratulations to him. Even with my pathetic score I still enjoyed myself and hope everybody else did as well. More importantly the HFT Gods are still looking after us and it didn’t rain until we were finished shooting, packed up and driving off the site.

Obviously the 60 point challenge wasn’t won so the £150 pots still up for grabs and the charity fund now stands at £12.
