A split pin if I remember. Measure the hole diameter and you should be able to buy a pin to suit. If not from Sportsmatch then off of eblag.
Just got a nice used one piece sportsmatch mount and it has a clear non threaded hole where the pin goes...is there a pin available
Thanks

It's a roll pin you need, not sure of the size though.
You don't really need one with the one piece unless its a cannon that it's going on.
A .25 HW80 so close lol

I'm sure that I've got one at home that I don't use from a set of two piece mounts; I'll dig it out and measure it up tonight, and if it's the same size, you can have it.
Thank you

I mounted a Sportsmatch one piece mount on a HW35 using the supplied roll pin and the recoil bent the pin!
I now make my own arrestor pins from solid steel rod and use them with all my springers with no problems.
Some are threaded, some use roll pins. The two threaded ones I have take standard M4 grubscrews, the others 4mm plastic roll pins - I didn't realise they were plastic until one bent and I had to take it out !
On the only gun that gives a problem (an HW99) I have replaced the roll pin with a piece of steel rod I happened to have lying around. I cut it a bit short, packed the top with a bit of kitchen roll (all high tech me ) so the scope itself compresses it. Been in place three years now with no movement or problems at all.

Mine all have vmach kits and are great but over long term the scopes do creep without a pin
