    SSP,s

Having collected ssp,s for some years, im looking to thin out collection mainly because of lack of use...
(10m target rifles are my preference.)

Any estimate for pricing on the following would be appreciated...

One or more will be for sale..

1.Air Logic Genesis... mint boxed and paperwork.

    2. John Bowkett ssp compound rifle.... used but serviced by the man 2/3 years ago with some handwritten instruction of use.

    3. Titan JB1 used but good condition...

    4. Parker Hale Dragon.... as new!

    Regards Steve....

Genesis mint and boxes with paperwork you are talking AT LEAST £800, probably around the £1000 mark to the right collector.

Would need photos of the Bowkett rifle to properly estimate, there are a few one offs and working prototypes out there but I’ve never seen them take much...

JB1 depending on condition I’ve seen them start at £300 and go up. I dread to think what serial number 001 went for

Dragon as new, if it’s an FT model, above the £650 mark, sporters used to trade hands for around the £400 mark but I’ve seen them go for £550 recently. If yours is as new you want to be the top of that bracket at least.

    Hope this helps, Tom

    Thanks for the input Tom...

The Bowkett carbine is stamped H16......6/82.

The JB1 is in 177.. with i presume original moderator..

The Genesis also comes with the mosquito mounts...

The dragon is a Sporter model..

Will email some pictures to you and one other sometime tomorrow...

    Regards Steve..

Not a problem mate, I’m unsure of the number marking so will wait on pictures.

If the genesis has mosquito mounts then you definitely want to be pushing the £1K mark. And a sporter dragon in that condition will be snapped up by a fan I’m sure, they are beautiful rifles and most of the sporters sold now have seen some use.

Interesting that your JB1 is .177, did it come with multiple barrels? Mine is .22 and I keep threatening to turn up a .177 barrel for it so I can test both. Again the moderator if original will add value to a collector.
